Subtitles
Like mother, like daughter. I guess it’s inevitable.
My mother is a work-from-home graphic designer, so growing up, the picture of “my mom working” looked just like this. To be honest, as a kid I thought “being at the computer all day, clicking away at such small details….I could NOT do that!”
But here I am today!
Another day working on the English subtitles for the Wariki Online Concert. I’ve made it to Act II, but there’s still many hours ahead. I’m tired, but pushed by one motive:
I want to give you access, so you can experience the beauty and artistry that exists on the other side of a language barrier. I want you to see what I see.
I still kick myself wishing I would have listened to my mom and let her teach me Illustrator back then.
But hey, I got my hands full with subtitles for now.
One last push til the end!
